DIGITAL PANEL

Informative, interactive and functional. Kubota's all-new liquid crystal display (LCD) panel accurately shows easy-to-understand diagnostics and digital readings. The Kubota Intelligent Control System (KICS) will even alert the operator to when routine maintenance is due. Plus, when filling-up with fuel, the KICS informs the operator that the tank is nearly full. The panel reduces excavator downtime and repair fees for a decrease in total operating costs.

This roomy compact lets you work all day in comfort. It offers a more spacious and comfortable operator’s space than standard tail swing machines. Plus, a full suspension seat comes standard with armrests, a high-back and adjustable height and spring firmness, to further reduce operator fatigue.

CLIMATE CONTROLLED CAB

We’ve added a convenient air conditioner on cabin models for increased comfort. The climate control can increase cooling or heating to keep you operating at peak performance.

With the new standard auto idling system, an impressive machine even sitting still. Four seconds after the operation lever is returned to the neutral position, the engine cycle will automatically decelerate to its idling rpm. When the operation lever is moved again, the engine cycle automatically returns to its previous operating rpm. This feature improves safety, dramatically decreases operation noise and reduces fuel consumption by approximately 10%.

Bucket cylinder hoses are plumbed inside the arm. And boom cylinder hoses are routed under the boom bottom.

The Angle Blade requires only simple movement of the Dozer Lever not only to easily and accurately be raised or lowered, but also to adjust its angle of operation by as much as 25 degrees to either the left or the right. For backfilling operations, this outstanding feature means that the Angle Blade can be set to push excavated earth - regardless of which side of the trench it is piled upon - into the opening while the Kubota Model Excavator moves forward. As the need for repetitive repositioning at right angles to the trench being backfilled is eliminated, overall operational efficiency is significantly enhanced.

This is damage control at its best. For greater visibility and rear end protection, the cropped and contoured rear overhang is only 4.5 inches, for one of the tightest tail swings in the industry. At last, a smart, no nonsense hydraulic system in a compact excavator. That’s what you get from the load sensing hydraulic system. Kubota has applied its unique and advanced hydraulic setting to the load sensing system by eliminating unnecessary oil flow and wasted energy for smoother operation. Control valves automatically regulate and distribute the optimum amount of oil to each cylinder based on the weight of the load. Now, operators need not change lever strokes to adjust the amount of oil required for different job loads. Instead, users need only concentrate on the feather touch control levers for fluid operation regardless of the load size. As a result, ease of use as well as fuel efficiency is improved. In fact, fuel consumption is reduced by an astounding 20%.
 

Includes bi-directional auxiliary hydraulic controls. Piping routed to arm. Short hoses to the tool are less likely to catch on sharp edges.
 

CLEAN, EFFICIENT POWERFUL KUBOTA DIESEL ENGINE

Kubota excavators feature proven Kubota diesel engines. Performance matched to each excavator, they provide dependable power at low sound levels with the highest fuel efficiency while meeting emissions standards. In cold weather, the super glow preheat system ensures engine starts as low as -20ºC in 10 seconds! Easily accessible dual element air cleaners provide extra protection in the toughest conditions. And an electric fuel pump automatically bleeds the fuel lines should the fuel run out.
 

ROPS/FOPS CANOPY AND CAB MODELS

Work safe and sound in either the Canopy or Cab model. Both exceed international testing standards for ROPS/FOPS and protect the operator against accidental rollovers or falling debris.
 

ULTRA LOW NOISE LEVEL

All hydraulics and control valves have been moved from below the foot panel and logically arranged on the right side of the machine’s body for easier maintenance. The right side bonnet can be fully opened and detached without the use of tools. And with the wide opening hood, the engine area can be checked and serviced easily.
 

Moving and positioning the angle blade-up, down, left, and right-can all be performed by using a single lever. It doesn't get any easier.
 

Moving only in a forward direction, backfilling is performed smoothly and efficiently.
 

Easy and fast to complete finishing work! After back filling, you just travel backward striding over the covered ditch with the dozer in the floating position. You don't need to adjust the dozer height to make a clean ground surface.
 

Without the angle blade feature, the need for time-consuming repetitive repositioning at right angles to the trench is required.
 

The trencher piles up earth on both sides of the trench. It takes twice as long to backfill since repetitive repositioning is needed on both sides.
